Released: August 31, 2004

Game Modes: FFA, TFFA, CTF, Duel, Power Duel
Bot Routing: Yes
Custom Music, Models, and Textures: Yes, Yes...and uh, Yep!

Installation: Extract the jedicouncilgcx.pk3 file to your GameData/base folder. Do whatever you want with this readme.txt file. I don't care. You're gonna delete it anyway, aren't you? I knew it...punk.

Description: Overhauled version of Jedi Council GC for Jedi Academy. This new version has seen a near total remake from it's Jedi Outcast days. While the basic layout remains the same, many rooms have been added, deleted, and expanded. New areas are the Docking Bay with Detention Block, a new trial wing, which is now the home of the Duel Chamber, Jump Room, and the new Judgement Hall. More padawan bedrooms have been added, although remain unchanged. The top floor has been expanded a bit to include a new Council Chamber and Meditation room to look more like they appear in Ep. 2. Also added to the top floor are the Council bedrooms. All other rooms have pretty much seen some type of upgrade, from reworked architecture, custom textures, or basic room expansion. The map is about 30-40% larger in size. All doors and platforms are now activated by hitting your USE key.

MAP ISSUES: Due to the map's increased size, and due to the fact that my pc is more powerful than it was back in the JO days, the map may have fps issues on lower end machines. For this I apologize. If you experience lower framerates, try lowering anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, and/or turning off dynamic glow to help gain more frames. Also, if you have the old converted version of my map, PLEASE DELETE IT, as some of the textures in the map will cause a conflict with this one, to where some textures will not show up (you will have a grey and white grid showing in the map)

Also, some people have run into a "Max Vehicle Extension" error (I believe this is not the exact name of the error, but this is basically what it will say). This error comes from having too many maps with custom vehicles. I am not sure of the limit, I think it's around 12-16. If you run into this error, simply move some maps that have custom vehicles out of your base folder, and it should work properly. The only custom vehicle I have in my level is the Jedi Starfighter, by Zymotico and Mars Marshall. Although these ships are flyable normally, the ones in my map are non solid, so they cannot be flown. At this time I have no intention of making them flyable in the future, so don't ask, please. Also, try to refrain from using /npc kill, as it will destroy the ships, and the droids in the level, leaving behind invisible blocks that will stop character movement and weapons fire.

**Special Thanks**

This list has expanded since the last map, so I'll try to be brief, but touch on some very helpful and kind individuals who have allowed me to use their work, or helped me in creating my own.

Mars Marshall and Zymotico: For allowing me to use their Jedi Starfighter model for my docking bay, which without them, would have been nearly pointless to create.

Ball of Justice: For taking the time to create the rest of the various models in my map, including the EXCELLENT council chairs and sword models.

ShroomDuck and Sensory Overlord of TMBJ: For teaching me how to create realistic cloth banners, as well as providing other various pointers for my map.

Praxeum: For helping me create the name list for the Hall of Eternal Jedi plaques located in the Archives, as well as a few other scattered ideas here and there.

Osiris: For hooking me up with the white and black marble textures used throughout the level.

Zathu: Once again, for giving me the concept of the Room of a Thousand Fountains, as well as the order's banner in the Duel Chamber.

Yoda: For creating (and winning) the RED VS. BLUE banners that are used in the Duel Chamber.

AstronautMonkey, Zathu: For their hard work and dedication to holding over so many people with a converted version of JCGC until I came back and took over the helm.

-Extra thanks to everyone else that I couldn't remember that helped me with ideas, bug finding, and constant annoying requests :)
