Sounds: From N-1 toy by hasbro

Concept: Protecting the skies and space around Naboo is the N-1 starfighter.
Its sleek design exemplifies the philosophy of art and fuction witnessed throughout Naboo technology.
Its twin radial J-type engines are capped in gleaming chrome and trail long delicate-looking finials behind the ship's single-pilot compartment.
Behind the pilot sits a standard astromech droid, plugged into an abbreviated, ventrally-fed socket which requires the droid to compress slightly in order to fit within the vessel's curves.
The fighter features twin blaster cannons, twin fire-linked torpedo launchers, and a capable automatic pilot feature.
During the Battle of Naboo, fearless pilot Ric Oli led Bravo Squadron's N-1 fighters against swarms of Trade Federation droid starfighters.
The unexpected help of talented rookie pilot Anakin Skywalker resulted in the destruction of the Droid Control Ship, sealing the victory at Naboo.

NOTES FROM THE AUTHORS:

This is a vehicle model like the x-wing. it can be either spawned by players in game or placed by a mapper in his map. the vehicle works in single and multiplyer.
If you want to use this vehicle in your new map, you are very welcome - BUT give us credit for the vehicle please!

The Default skin is by Monsoontide.
If you wish to re-skin the model, I've included a blank template to work from.

This vehicle will become part of the Open Jedi Project - so if you feel inclines to improve it look for it there.

The N-1 is equipped with lasers and concussion missiles.

Press and hold space to take off (Don't hold it too long or it will activate the turbo boost).
Once airborne press & hold forward to cruise.

KNOWN VEHICLE ISSUES / LIMITATIONS
The "bounding box" for the N-1 does not appear properly in multi-player (i.e. it's very large).
Although I've tweaked the attributes for the vehicle it still is very difficult to control.
Although the vehicle is set up with shields etc, flying the vehicle into something may cause it to blow up instantly.
There is a chrome shader on the vehicle. If it doesn't show up you may need to add the shaderlist.txt file to your base/shaders/ folder.
You can only have 12 vehicles max. If you encounter an error, try removing some vehicles.

HOW TO PLAY IN A MAP THAT HAS NOT PLACED THE VEHICLE BY DEFAULT

to play the vehicles in a game, start a map in cheat mode, eg. "devmap mp/siege_desert",
when the map is loaded, bring down the console "~ + shift" and type in:
"/npc spawn vehicle n1_mst",
then you need to move away from the spawn point - the vehicle should then appear after a few seconds.
Have fun!

Thanks to:
Duncan_10158 without whom this model would just be sitting in my 3D app looking pretty!
