File Name: jk3 dismemberment.zip

Description:
------------
This is a simple modification in which you edit your "jaconfig" file,
to dismember people in JK3, like JK2.

Why:
----
I was disappointed when playing JK3 that you couldn't dismember people
like you could in JK2. "It's a lightsaber for goodness sakes! That's
what it's supposed to do! Dismember things!"

Installation1: (configuring your "jaconfig.cfg")
------------------------------------------------
To make things easier, I've included a "jaconfig.txt" file, so that
you can just copy all the text, and paste it in your GameData, base,
jaconfig.cfg file.

Step1: Open "jaconfig.txt" from the zip archive and copy all the text.
Step2: Go to your GameData, base folder, and open "jaconfig.cfg"
with wordpad (uncheck "always use this program to...").
Step3: Paste the text you've just copied at the bottom of the list.
Step4: Find and Delete seta g_dismemberment "3"
Step5: Save it, and play.

Problems and Solutions
----------------------
1. "I don't have a "jaconfig.cfg" in my base folder!"

If "jaconfig.cfg" isn't in your base folder:

A. Start a new game and quit @ the menu screen to create "jaconfig.cfg"

B. Set your folder options to SHOW ALL FILES (the file might be hidden;
and if it is, right click "jaconfig.cfg," click on properties, and
   uncheck hidden)

2. "When I play, I'm not dismembering anything!"

When ever you change character, or map "mapname", the games settings
automatically change back to defaut.

A. Re-open your jaconfig.cfg and make sure all lines are set to
   jk3 dismemberment settings.

B. Save all changes.

3. "When I map "mapname," I can't dismember anything!"

Since the code is write protected, maping a place won't work.

A. In an SP game, open your console and type: devmap mapname.

Other Information:
------------------
Note: When your new game starts, if you want to spawn characters,
simply bring down your console: shift+~ and type:

      npc spawn reborn
      npc spawn reborn_new
      etc.

Unstallation Instructions:
--------------------------
To uninstall, simply open "jaconfig.cfg" in WordPad and delete the
lines: seta helpUsObi "1" and seta password "mwredsith"
