To bind here's what you do:

press the tilde key (~) to bring up the
console display.

Then enter /bind then the key you want
and then the client command.

For example:

/bind e +taunt

So when I press e I will taunt

Important keys:

W: Forward
S: Backward
A: Sidestep left
D: Sidestep right
Z: Previous Force
X: Next Force Power
F: Use The Force

Here is a list of un-usefull keys that are
either unbinded or not of a critical use:

2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 - =

Q E R I O P [ ] \

G H J L ; '

V B N M , . /

Also you can use the Insert, Delete, ect. keys.

To use them here is a list of the keys and
their console definitions:

ins	Insert
del	delete
home	home
end	end
pgdn	page down
pgup	page up

Remember: just because I say that these keys
are critical, does not mean you cannot bind
them to something else at your own will or risk.

As you can see, there are 24 possible binds
for your commands out of a 37 total. Obviously
you cant have them all. So pick and choose.

Please note that [ ] switches your inventory
but in most servers don't even have items save
for the health and sheild boosters laying around.
Also , . are sidestep buttons. Since A D sidestep
for you there's really no real use for them at all.
Additionaly Q and R switch your weapons but, since
your wheel mouse dose that already, than just unbind
them at will!!!

these will be indicated by a *)

There some commands that need further explanation here
are some that I feel need explanning.

amsay:

when you bind this here is what you must do:

/bind n say --==good fight==--
(note: you can bind it to whatever you want)

So when you press n you will automatically say
--==good fight==-- without needless typing.

It's useful if you don't have killtracker or
you don't want to use killtracker.

To use colors in you say, just do the same thing
as you would in your name or the killtracker.

this is what you use for colors

^

For example:

^2Mesh

my name will be entirely green.

^2Me^1sh

Me will be green and sh wil be red.

and so on and so forth.

Here is a small list of the different color
codes that are used in jk2:

1	Red
2	Green
3	Yellow
4	Blue
5	Turqouise
6	Fuscia
7	White
0	Black

Remember to be creative with your say command.

Also amsay can be used to report lamers.

+taunt:

Make your character actually say something!!!! It's
cool to here every persons taunt. Experiment and
see what one's are your favorite.
