FOREWORD: Its a great privilege to do the walkthrough for this level, its so beautifully designed that its a joy to write! I think it says a lot about just how good this project is that a walkthrough written in a fairly economical style still covers many pages. Hopefully you wont need to use it too much the first time you play the level through, but it may come in handy from time to time. All credit to Lassev for creating one of the best levels that will ever be made for JO, he has put a tremendous amount of work into it and I think it shows.

Warning: This walkthrough does contain some spoilers to the plot, as well as taking the challenge out of completing the puzzles and finding the correct route yourself. We only recommend using it if you get really stuck. Some sections of the story are not described at all, so that the plot is not all given away by this walkthrough.

Landos House:

The view was wonderful. Eventually I managed to pull myself away from the window, I had things to do. I took time to feed Jake before getting Jan to help me with this problem.

As soon as I read the message, I got that uneasy feeling that I get whenever Im about to do something dangerous. Mon Mothma wanted us to travel to this Project Lighthouse with very little intelligence to help give us some idea what we were up against. I hate going in cold like this, but theres no option this time. Think of the money I guess.

Jan, prep the ship for take off

As Jan left, I went over to collect it from a little cabinet. Not sure I should have kept it at all sometimes.

Lighthouse Basement:

The planet looked as wind-swept and cut off as I had imagined. I set off from the Ravens Claw.

Crashing through an air vent I am in the facility at last, albeit far away from where I want to get. I walk out into a security area, my senses tell me to expect trouble. I creep through to find an Imperial behind some unbreakable glass. I mind trick him into opening a way through, into some service ducts.

The service ducks lead me through to an elevator, which leads me right into a room full of about 20 stormtroopers. The battle is hard fought. Afterwards I press the important looking button on the platform in the center of the room, which opens a door. Sadly, the door reveals some Interrogation droids (I always have hated those things) and a Mark 1 droid (never to be taken lightly). After dispatching with these, being careful to stay well back from the Interrogation droids, I make my way into the area behind the doors I just opened, and find my way into a small air vent.

Using my Light Amplification Goggles I manage to crawl through the vents and come out in a room full of equipment as well as some security droids. From this room I can get into the corridor, and back into the room the Imperial I mind tricked earlier was in. I dispatch him and then press a button which opens a door in the hallway outside the glass, where I had been earlier. Before leaving the room I press a button to look through a security camera placed high up on the facility. What a view!

Having walked through the door I just opened in the hallway I had been in earlier, I took on some Stormtroopers guarding the corridor and also found a bacta canister. I have already noticed a few propaganda posters, one says Imperial Academy we train the best!, others talk of high mountain scenery, warm sun and crystal lakes they werent lying about those, this place is quite beautiful, if windswept and remote. Even one telling of the new Mark 1, new enhanced model, not a droid you want to come up against if you can help it. I followed the corridor and it leads me to a large room which went way up. I didnt have long to look upwards though, as two Reborn were on an elevator heading down. I never lose a feeling of uneasiness whenever I face them; they create a very strange disturbance in the force, in an unnatural way it is hard to describe.

I take the elevator back up where they came from, only to be confronted by more Reborn. One jumps at me a mistake this high up I push him off course and down to a 50ft fall. I find that the door from here leads me to a long corridor. A window or two lets me know I am climbing higher up the facility, the view is stunning.

I find a door opening from the corridor; two Imperials stare at me from behind a large red shield. I decide against wasting precious Flechette ammo in trying to bounce grenades from it under the field, and instead mind trick the officer in black (that makes him a Commander no less) into pressing a button on his console. I leave, heading towards the door he has hopefully opened back along the corridor. A Stormtrooper with a Flechette on secondary fire is always dangerous in this kind of long, narrow corridor, but I manage to take him out and get through a now unlocked door from the corridor.

The room is lit with heavy green lighting. Stormtroopers and Imperial workers pose little problems, but then I am a little stuck. If I can turn the red shield that is protecting the spinning generator off, perhaps I can progress somehow but how? I notice the two control panels in a small boxed off area. I press one, then the other. Nothing. Taking a moment to curse Imperial design, I think about the problem. Hold on, perhaps if there are two consolesI use force speed, press one console, which holds one image on the viewer, then quickly move and press the other before the first has time to start changing images again. Success, the shield is gone!

This generator, I dont think I want to try and meddle with it, looks pretty dangerous. That looks like an air vent there, behind that console. Summing the aid of the force once more, I pull the console towards me, allowing me to blast the air vent and crawl through.

I take the duct through to reach the air vent I had noticed behind the red shield in the room with two Imperial in earlier. I just through and take out the two Imperials. As several image viewers lie in shattered pieces around me, I look at the consoles. This one looks as if it turns on a gun of some kind. Hmmm, a gun might come in handy to use later on, I switch it on. I can now turn the red shield off. From here I head back across the corridor to the green lit room I was in before.

I head back into the air vent, and at the other end of the duct to where I went before, I see several pipes. As I had thought, I am able to jump up the vent using these pipes as platforms, eventually emerging in a room with more Imperials. With these cleared, I find my way through to a room with a large security console covering most of one wall. I look through the window here and see what I saw through that security camera earlier, a platform high above the ground. There is a large emplaced gun there, that console pressed before should have turned I on. There are several guards around it too; I notice a Rodian and a Gran, interesting mercenaries. I am more concerned about how to get through the layers of shields between me and that emplaced gun. A security key from an Imperial gets me through a locked door and up to the shields, but now Im stuck. If I can reach the gun, perhaps I can punch a hole in the large door opposite it, blocking me off from further progress. But how do I turn the shields off?

Suddenly I notice the R4 droid, minding its own business. I press a button to get it to move over to a small terminal near the shields. It moves up to the console and interacts with it, lighting up a button above the console. Pressing this, the shields drop. However, they are not gone completely, just now are sequentially starting then stopping. This allows me to move through to the emplaced gun and take out the guards. Several of them are pushed to their deaths.

I cannot fire the emplaced gun at the door opposite because there is always one shield in the way at any one time, unless

I run back to the button, the droid still next to it. I press it again, and all the shields disappear. I Know this only lasts a few seconds before the sequential shielding begins, so I use force speed to dash over to the emplaced gun and fire it at the door opposite, blasting a big hole in it. I go through the hole in the door, pleased with myself.

Lighthouse Topside:

I find a strange sight once I get through the door. In a huge hangar area, I can see a boxing match, watched by some Stormtroopers off duty. It says a lot about stormtroopers that they still like to carry their weapons around when off duty. The sign reminds me I am quite thirsty (sport these days is so commercialised, advertising everywhere), and I head to a bar found below the stands. The Imperials in there seem just a little slower to react than they should be (too much of that poisonous stuff they drink). The bartender doesnt react too much at the fight, continuing to clean his glass. I ask him what is going on, only to be met with typically evasive behavior. My obvious agitation leads him to open a secret area which, well, was a very odd place indeed. Perhaps I should cut back on the Corellian ale

Getting back to the job at hand, I search around the hanger area. I cant see any obvious way out, the large hanger door appears to be locked. I look around and suddenly realise there are elevators at each corner of the boxing ring. They are pretty strange - they only go up, not down. I cant help but wonder whether this is because the fighters werent going to be leaving this ringever. I head through one of the doors at the corner of the boxing ring, dropping down into some underground corridors. I find my way to the boxers rest room, it seems to be well stocked for relaxing and watching the ring via camera link ups, perhaps to see earlier bouts. I grab some supplies, and notice the poster of a Gran fighter on the wall is not just for show. Apparently it is also there to cover a crack in the wall, and I soon cut through this wall and into another corridor. I find my way through to a door looking onto, well, a big drop. Above I can see a large structure towering into the darkness. How can I possibly get up there? I jump, a little tentatively, onto the pipes across from me, and make my way around to see a small generator protected by a shield. I am a little stumped by this, and then have an idea. This is when knowing Imperial Procedures comes in handy I tell myself, as I destroy the control panel above the generator. The shield turns off, but more importantly a maintenance unit slides down a long rail to make sure any fire is put out. I jump onto it (another nervous moment) and then it takes me all the way up to the top of the rail. I manage to jump across to the small platform across from me, and step through the door.

A sign tells me there are Mine Monsters in this section of the base. I thought I saw some earlier when we landed. These arent tame like Jake though, and I prepare for a fight. They are actually pretty smart creatures; Jake knows several tricks now, as I keep telling Jan. She can be hard to impress, and keeps suggesting I lose the beard. Still, shes pretty amazing all the same andback to business, must concentrate.

I make my way through into a room with some serious machinery in. There are two large power dischargers hanging from the ceiling, I press a button to lower them. The next room is shielded, with an almost indestructible window. I notice the Imperial worker, and mind trick him into pressing a button which engages the controls for the power dischargers, both buttons next to be. I pres them, deliberately overloading the machines, and put a good distance between myself and there. The explosion is extremely large, and allows me entry into the area the worker had been in.

I go through the room, using a small charger to top up my shields, follow a corridor a round until I reach a dark room. An Imperial is facing me, through unbreakable glass. I head into the room, then I hear a sound that sends a chill down my spine. A Shadowtrooper appears, right next to where I had walked in. I tense up, this room is very cramped. Fighting a shadowtrooper in such a cramped space is going to be very dangerous

I head back into the dark room with the Imperial in, go into his small area and grab what I can. The bottle suggests he was a little depressed working up here, cant say I blame him, this seems to be the very last place in this facility youd want to be stationed at, mine monsters and all. I take time to press an important looking button on one of the walls of the room before I leave; looks like it could help me get out of that hanger back down where I had come from. I head back down, jumping back onto the automated maintenance unit that had originally taken me up. It takes me to the bottom of the huge area; I jump across to the pipes, and then back onto the platform and through the door.

I am now back in the corridor I was in before, some time ago. Find my way back through that crack in the wall the poster had been covering, and back up the elevators into the boxing ring. I am not met with a warm welcome. Stormtroopers everywhere, and Reborn too! The battle is intense and I am lucky to survive. When I have defeated all the enemies in the hanger, I look around. First of all I look for supplies, and find that one of the large crates has a side that can be destroyed, I am glad to find supplies inside.

That button, it did what I had hoped; it gave me a way out of the hanger. I see that the floating control unit for a crane is now operational, as I press it the crane swings across, the heavy girder it is holding swings into the side of a locked elevator shaft, allowing me entry. I take the elevator up. From here I go through a door and find myself taking on Imperials. I make sure to collect the shields on the table, and then go over to the far window. I am glad it is unbreakable, because sniper fire bounces off it. I look down at a large detachment of Stormtroopers guarding the area below. I can see this area is connected to the hangar I was in, but how do I open the hangar door to get through? This button?

The button doesnt do what I expected, I find myself controlling a small droid down in the area below. I realise I can use this to my advantage, scootering along the floor, scouting out their positions. I come across a button which looks like I may as well try it. I do, and two of the Mark I droids in their go berserk, attacking Imperial forces. This is something of an unexpected bonus, a great diversion! I leave control of the droid try another button to the right of a console, and head back down the elevator shaft, into the hangar. As I had hoped, one Hangar door is now open. I head in and press the button inside to open the other door.

The doors slide open, and I am faced by a lot of angry looking Stormtroopers. Dont ask me how I can tell they look angry behind their helmets, but they do. A very hard battle ensues; I manage to take out Stormtroopers using the emplaced guns and use them in the fight. Eventually I manage to take out the stormtroopers. I go to a small booth where an Imperial Commander is, he attacks me. I take him out, go into the booth and press an important looking button there.

I hear laughter, and Ive faced enough maniacs to know its pretty insane laughter. Some figure up high is laughing. Then I see a large structure come down and out of it stepsI dont believe it, Battle Droids! They look heavily armed indeed. Once they have all emerged there is a short delay, then they all snap into action. I somehow manage to dodge a tirade of rockets. I use the cover and emplaced guns as best I can to outmaneuver the droids. I manage to beat them, somehow, and head through a large door.

This door leads to a large corridor with a locked door the other side. I attacked one pillar, which crashed forward and gave me a way up to a hole in the ceiling. Up there I made my way to a grate, which I destroyed. Upon moving though I found myself in what appeared to be some kind of prison block. A poster on the wall said Crime does not pay. I searched around and found a cell on the top level of the prison stashed full of supplies. A shielded cell on the lower level appeared to be occupied. I moved closer. He asked to be released, and so I turned the shield off.

The battle was underway, Lord Serpent charged, a Purple Lightsaber glowing menacingly as it flashed through the air. His skill with a saber was great, but I managed to best him with my own saber. I grabbed a key from his body, unlocked a large door and moved through.
--------------------------------------------------------
Lighthouse Array Chamber:

I walked down the corridor, finding my way into a room filled with consoles and enemies and with several sentry guns mounted on the ceiling. Using the consoles for cover, I managed to fight my way through my opponents. I took an elevator up and found myself at the very top of the entire installation, looking down at the oceans, some huge distance below. I grabbed a key of the Commander, taking the elevator back down to the room with consoles and using the key to unlock another elevator. This one went way down, deep into the facility.

I climbed aboard a hovering unit which then set off on a path through the facility, taking me to a set of doors with a no guns symbol on. I destroyed the clamps on the door with my saber before walking into the corridor, and foolishly pressing the button with the hand symbol on. I was electrocuted and thrown back against the far wall. I got to my feet, shaken but not hurt, and destroyed the device that had just set the defence system off. I moved through the corridor

--------------------------------------------------------
The guards were dispatched, but now what? The clock was ticking, the entire array was going to be destroyed, probably me with it! I was now without any connection to the force at all, and it scared me. I took the elevators down to the ground level of the enormous chamber which the array was in. Pressing one button led the computer to tell me Main Reactor offline, and I found my connection to the force had returned, the Array apparently unable to drain or diminish it anymore. Another button near to large mechanism on the ground level was pressed, and I heard Energy converter offline. I took the elevator back up to the top level of the array that I had begun at, pressed the button there and the computer informed me it was initiating energy discharge procedure. I went back done to the ground floor, there was an elevator found up a short flight of stairs from the ground floor, which took me up to a platform which was alongside a huge dish. I jumped onto the dish, and from there had no idea where to be I knew for sure this would be a particularly bad place to be if the whole thing exploded, the countdown ticking all the time.

Suddenly I spotted an area on a platform part way up the outside of the chamber. I could reach it by moving along one of the supports for the dish. When I reached the end of the support nearest the platform, I found the glass was unbreakable. I desperately attacked the glass until I found that infact, one section could be broken. I jumped through, glad to be on something other than a narrow support above a massive fall. I ran along to the end of the platform, finding some consoles. They had little coloured squares on, and nearby was another single console, red. Somehow I knew that these consoles were the key to canceling the self-destruct sequence off. I found that two of the consoles could be altered; I could change the patterns on them. I had to find the correct combination that would disable the self-distrust. However, if either of the consoles had the wrong pattern, the wrong code, and I pressed the large red console, I could be sure the whole thing would go up even quicker than when the timer ran out. Desperately I looked at the consolesit was some kind of test.one combination for each of the two consoles would be correct, I had to work out why, and I had to do it fast!
