Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy Simple Anti-Cheat (SAC)

Simple Anti-Cheat (SAC) only has a single goal - Provide a reliable
way to prevent players from downloading known hacks to gain an unfair
advantage over other players. In no way is this project focussed on
preventing any and every way of cheating, however the goal is to keep
on top of public and private cheats (circulating in closed player
groups). This means that the common player who is looking for a quick
download to gain supernatural abilities will be having a hard time.

1. Find the binary file for the modification you are trying to secure.
On Linux, this file is named "jampgamei386.so" and is located in the
modification folder. On Windows, this file is named "jampgamex86.dll"
and is probably in one of the modification's PK3 files. Extract it
from there using any tool supporting ZIP files (PK3 is a ZIP).

2. Rename the binary to "jampmodulei386.so" or "jampmodulex86.dll",
for Linux and Windows respectively. These modules have to be renamed
correctly, otherwise the protected server will not start properly.

3. Place the binary provided in this package into the modification
folder. This is "jampgamei386.so" or "jampgamex86.dll", for Linux and
Windows respectively. On Windows machines you will have to prevent the
binary of the modification from overwriting the new binary, you can do
this by adding "set fs_dirbeforepak 1" to your server configuration.

NOTE: When a modification releases an update, you will have to perform
these steps again. If you do not, it is possible you will either disable
the protection or remain at an outdated modification.

Please verify your installation by joining the server with a non SAC
powered client (you will get a message you need SAC) Enjoy your game!
